Once much beloved, this antique ring commemorates a soul lost to this world, kept safe through three lifetimes. A treasure, in which one can feel the poignancy so near on reading the reverse panel which was once hand engraved but the greater part of the etching has worn away and only the last line remains; '....died Feb'y 21,, 1852'.
The square panel which was fashionable at the time is set with twinkly black faceted glass 'French Jet' and is supported by naturalistic Rococo shoulders, all in pale 9ct yellow Gold. The ring size a 'Q and a half' or US '6.25'.
